# Security and Infrastructure

Arbridge Network is built on a zero-trust security posture. No internal system is assumed to be benign, no network segment is assumed to be untouchable, and no credential is granted a lifetime longer than its purpose.

## Core controls

**Encrypted transmission.** Every byte moving between members, the dashboard, Pulse, and downstream venues travels over encrypted channels. Internal service-to-service traffic is additionally authenticated with short-lived credentials.

**Immutable execution logs.** Every action Pulse takes — every quote, every route decision, every settlement — is written to an append-only log. Logs are replicated across independent storage domains and are cryptographically linked so that silent modification is detectable.

**Distributed execution.** Pulse runs across distributed nodes with automated failover. A failure in any single node, region, or upstream dependency is absorbed by the system before it becomes visible to members.

**Tokenized credentials.** Keys, API credentials, and wallet-signing material are never stored in plaintext. Sensitive material is tokenized, short-lived, and scoped to the narrowest operation that will use it.

**Continuous monitoring.** Anomaly detection runs against operational telemetry around the clock. Deviations from known-good execution patterns trigger automatic containment and human review.

## Operational security practices

* Separation of duties across Engineering, Risk, and Operations functions
* Hardware-backed authentication for privileged access
* Routine third-party security review and penetration testing
* Defined incident response playbooks with member-facing communication commitments

## Philosophy

Security at Arbridge is not a department — it is an architectural property of the entire system. Every product decision is evaluated for its effect on the security posture, and no feature ships that materially weakens it.
